When man transgressed the command to not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, death became his greatest enemy, which will be the last enemy to be destroyed,

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

Genesis 2:17

The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

1 Corinthians 15:26

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire

Revelation 20:14

Because the transgression resulted in God taking away his access to the “tree of life” by banishing him from the Garden of Eden, which is therefore what made the eventual death of man “sure”, hence “you shall surely die”, for man was not originally given aeonial life when he was created, which is why taking away his access to the “tree of life” also took away his opportunity to receive aeonial life, because his body was made from the dust of the ground to be temporal, which would eventually grow old and naturally die, like the lesser flesh of animals who were also made in this temporal way, which God did in preparation for what he predestined would happen, which is one reason man was made “a little lesser than the angels”, who were indeed originally given aeonial life when they were created,

then the Master God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the airflow of life, and the man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:7

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

Genesis 3:6

Then the Master God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live aeonially” therefore the Master God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a whirling flaming sword to guard the way to the tree of life.

Genesis 3:22-24

Yet you have made him a little lower than the angels and crowned him with glory and honor.

Psalm 8:5

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the plan of his will

Ephesians 1:11

Which is not something man thought he needed right away, which is why he never bothered to reach out and eat of the fruit of the tree of life, even though he had access to the tree of life the entire time he was in the Garden of Eden,

And out of the ground the Master God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden

Genesis 2:9

Yet in spite of the transgression of man, God had mercy on him, which is why he covered his nakedness,

And the Master God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.

Genesis 3:21

Because unlike the many angels who willingly chose to do evil who already had knowledge of good and evil, which is why God chose to never forgive them, man not knowing good and evil transgressed because of a lie, which deceived the woman and caused her to eat, who then caused the man to also eat,

But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

Genesis 3:4

Then the Master God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Genesis 3:13

and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

1 Timothy 2:14

And rather than curse the man with the death that was already made “sure” because of his transgression, because God took away his access to the tree of life, God cursed the man to suffer, so that through the lesser and temporal curse of suffering he may then be delivered from the greater and permanent curse of death, which is why although he cursed the man and the woman differently, each curse resulted in something good for each, for the pain of the man working the field would yield the joy of a harvest, while the pain of a woman giving birth would yield the joy of sons and daughters,

And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

Genesis 3:17-19

He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

Psalm 126:6

You have multiplied the nation; you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest

Isaiah 9:3

I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children…

Genesis 3:16

A woman when giving birth has pain because her hour has come; but when she brings forth her child, she forgets her anguish because of her joy that a man has been born into the world.

John 16:21

But wives will be delivered through giving birth, if they continue in belief, love and set-apartness with sobriety.

1 Timothy 2:15

While the serpent was cursed in a greater way than the man and the woman resulting in something evil for him, the eventual bruising of his own head, meaning his eventual destruction,

the Master God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”

Genesis 3:14-15

and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire

Revelation 20:10

And this is why suffering is a requirement to enter the kingdom of God and receive aeonial life,

While they were confirming the souls of the disciples and seeking that they would continue in the belief; and they were saying to them that it is necessary to enter the kingdom of God by much suffering.

Acts 14:22

Now if we are children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and co-heirs with the Messiah, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Romans 8:17

Indeed, all who desire to live a pious life in the Messiah Yeshuah will be persecuted

2 Timothy 3:12

So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Master or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.

2 Timothy 1:8

For it has been granted to you that for the sake of the Messiah you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake,

Philippians 1:29

For just as the sufferings of the Messiah overflow to us, so also through the Messiah our comfort overflows. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which accomplishes in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we experience. And our hope for you is sure, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you will share in our comfort.

2 Corinthians 1:5-7

that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering

2 Thessalonians 1:5

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Acts 5:41

But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of the Messiah, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

1 Peter 4:13

And any believer who does not suffer will not enter the kingdom of God, for all true believers will endure suffering, for the discipline of God comes in the form of suffering unto those he has accepted as true sons, whereas those who do not suffer are as illegitimate sons,

Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?

Hebrews 12:7

My son, do not despise the discipline of the Master, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Master disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.

Proverbs 3:11

because the Master disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.

Hebrews 12:6

If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.

Hebrews 12:8

And suffering is also how the belief of a believer is tested and also refined, like gold is refined in fire,

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your belief produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

James 1:2-4

In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your belief, of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire, may result in praise, glory and honor when Yeshua Messiah is revealed.

1 Peter 1:6-7

And the suffering a believer must endure is not any ordinary type of suffering the inhabitants of the world might endure through catastrophes, diseases, or famines that have ordinarily happened for thousands of years after the beginning of creation, but suffering because of righteousness, like the prophets and apostles of old who suffered because of their righteousness,

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5:10-12

And that suffering comes in various forms, such as being beaten, being thrown in prison, being insulted, being mocked, being spat on in the face,

They arrested them and, since it was already evening, put them in jail until morning.

Acts 4:3

and when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Yeshuah, and let them go.

Acts 5:40

He debated with some Greek-speaking Jews, but they tried to murder him.

Acts 9:29

dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul.

Acts 7:58

Are they servants of the Messiah? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequentlybeen flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus oneThree times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the assemblies.

2 Corinthians 11:23-28

Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.

Hebrews 11:35-38

Then Pilate took Yeshuah and had him floggedThe soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.

John 19:1-2

but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger;

2 Corinthians 6:4-5

And also, being martyred, which some believers are also appointed to endure,

You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.

He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword.

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.

Matthew 24:9

As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

Romans 8:36

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Yeshuah and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with the Messiah for 1,000 years.

Revelation 20:4
