Wisdom of God Equipping the people of God with understanding

The Identity of the Woman Clothed With the Sun in the Book of Revelation

The book of Revelation speaks of a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and with a crown of 12 stars. The woman symbolizes the people of Israel. The moon symbolizes the old covenant of Moses, which had lesser glory, by which the Torah of God came, which is the foundation by which she stands. Her clothing with the sun symbolizes the new covenant of Yeshua, which has greater glory, by which she radiates the light of her righteousness, based on belief in Yeshua and obedience to the Torah of Moses. The 12 stars symbolizes the 12 tribes of Israel.

And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.

Revelation 12:1

So then, the Torah was our tutor until the Mashiach came, in order that we might be justified by belief.

Galatians 3:24

But now we are released from the Torah, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the airflow and not in the old way of the written code. What then shall we say? That the Torah is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the Torah, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the Torah had not said, “You shall not covet.”

Romans 7:6-7

But as it is, the Mashiach has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.

Hebrews 8:6

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the Torah, although the Torah and the Prophets bear witness to it, the righteousness of God through belief in Yeshua HaMashiach for all who believe.

Romans 3:21-22

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the airflow be even more glorious? If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

2 Corinthians 3:7-11

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Matthew 13:43

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel. This is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each with the blessing suitable to him.

Genesis 49:28

The dragon with 7 heads and 10 horns symbolizes Satan, who through 7 distinct and great kingdoms throughout time has ruled over the land of Israel or oppressed the people of Israel. Beginning with Egypt, then Assyria, then Babylon, then Medo-Persia, then Greece, then Rome, then Arabia, which are the Muslims. These nations are in the context of Israel specifically, which is why other nations like the Mayans and the Chinese are not regarded, because these 7 specific nations were the ones that ruled over the land of Israel or oppressed the people of Israel. Which is why these are all grouped into one dragon against the woman, yet with 7 distinct heads. These were and are the 7 great empires that span the time from after the flood of Noah when nations began to emerge again on the earth to the time of the return of Yeshua.

And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns.

Revelation 12:3

Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. And he said to his people, “behold, the people of Israel are too many and too mighty for us. Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and, if war breaks out, they join our enemies and fight against us and escape from the land.” Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with heavy burdens. They built for Pharaoh store cities, Pithom and Raamses.

Exodus 1:8-11

The king of Assyria invaded the entire land, marched against Samaria and laid siege to it for three years. In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria and deported the Israelites to Assyria. He settled them in Halah, in Gozan on the Habor River and in the towns of the Medes.

2 Kings 17:5-6

He carried all Jerusalem into exile: all the officers and fighting men, and all the skilled workers and artisans–a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left. Nebuchadnezzar took Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. He also took from Jerusalem to Babylon the king’s mother, his wives, his officials and the prominent people of the land. The king of Babylon also deported to Babylon the entire force of seven thousand fighting men, strong and fit for war, and a thousand skilled workers and artisans.

2 Kings 24:14-16

And when he had spoken to me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face to the ground. But he touched me and made me stand up. He said, “Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the indignation, for it refers to the appointed time of the end. As for the ram that you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.

Daniel 8:18-20

And the goat is the king of Greece. And the great horn between his eyes is the first king. As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his nation, but not with his power.

Daniel 8:21-22

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron–for iron breaks and smashes everything–and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. As you saw the iron joined with soft clay, so will their offspring join together, but their people will not adhere one to the other, just as iron does not join together with clay.

Daniel 2:40-43

the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while.

Revelation 17:10

From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

Daniel 12:11
Note: The 1,290 year timeline of Daniel ends with the construction of the Dome of the Rock on Mount Moriah, which is where the temple of God stood. This abomination of desolation was constructed by the 7th head, which were the Arabs, which today are the Muslims.

The child the people of Israel symbolically gave birth to is Yeshua. The dragon standing before the woman to try to devour the child symbolizes the various attempts of Satan to cause Yeshua not only to fail in inheriting the kingdom of God, but also to die. When Yeshua appeared, Satan knew he was the promised Mashiach, the one who would inherit all authority in heaven and on earth. Even the demons knew who he was, and feared him. And this is why Satan tempted him to try to cause him to transgress, because he knew if he was able to cause Yeshua to transgress, the kingdom of God would not be given to him. And when that failed, then he delivered up Yeshua to death through Judas. Yet this also failed, for Yeshua was resurrected by the power of God 3 days and 3 nights later, and then ascended to heaven, to finally receive the promised kingdom and begin to rule from the right hand of God. Not even death and the evil plots of Satan could stop Yeshua from receiving the kingdom that was promised to him, for not once did Yeshua sin, and therefore God rewarded him tremendously, giving him authority over all heaven and earth.

She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth… And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child he might devour it. She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne.

Revelation 12:2-5

And Yeshua, full of the set-apart airflow, returned from the Jordan and was led by the airflow in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry. The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” And Yeshua answered him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’” And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours.” And Yeshua answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Master your God, and him only shall you serve.’” And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, for it is written, “‘He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,’ and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’” And Yeshua answered him, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Master your God to the test.’” And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time.

Luke 4:1-13

And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean airflow. And he cried out, “What have you to do with us, Yeshua of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the set-apart one of God.”

Mark 1:23-24

As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Yeshua told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.”

John 13:27

So then the Master Yeshua, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

Mark 16:19

I will tell of the decree: The Master said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

Psalm 2:7-9

The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father.

Revelation 2:26-27

This is the genealogy of Yeshua HaMashiach the son of David, the son of Abraham: Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, Ram the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon, Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife, Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa, Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Jehoram, Jehoram the father of Uzziah, Uzziah the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah, and Josiah the father of Jeconiah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon. After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, Zerubbabel the father of Abihud, Abihud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor, Azor the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Akim, Akim the father of Elihud, Elihud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah. Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Mashiach.

Matthew 1:1-17

The 1,260 days the woman is nourished symbolizes the 3 and 1/2 literal years after the death of Yeshua when the gospel was preached in Jerusalem first before it was preached to the Gentiles. For those were the last 3 and 1/2 literal years of the 70th prophetic week of Daniel, which was a prophecy of 490 literal years, from the time the decree was issued by King Artaxerxes to rebuild Jerusalem. For Yeshua was anointed at the end of the 69th prophetic week of Daniel, which was at the end of 483 literal years after the decree. Then he was killed in the middle of the 70th prophetic week, which was 3 and 1/2 literal years after his anointing. Then the gospel was preached to the Jews for 3 and 1/2 literal years after he was killed. Then after the completion of the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel the gospel was preached to the Gentiles, which was 490 literal years after the decree. The context of the 70 prophetic weeks of Daniel was “your people” and “your set-apart city”, as it is written, “70 weeks have been determined for your people and your set-apart city”. “Your people” is Israel as a whole and also specifically the house of Judah. Because unlike the Assyrian exile of the 10 tribes of the house of Israel that didn’t return to the land of Israel, the house of Judah returned to the land of Israel after the Babylonian exile. Which is the “Jews” at that time, which resided in Jerusalem, which is the “set-apart city” referenced in the 70 prophetic weeks prophecy of Daniel. And thus, the woman was symbolically nourished for 1,260 days with the gospel of Yeshua, in Jerusalem, in the last 3 and 1/2 literal years of the 70th prophetic week of Daniel. When the book of Revelation expresses time in “days”, it is “literal” days. Whereas when it expresses time in “months”, it is “prophetic” time, where 1 prophetic day is 1 literal year, or 1 prophetic week is 7 literal years, or 70 prophetic weeks is 490 literal years, or 1 prophetic month is 30 literal years, or 1 prophetic year is 360 literal years, or 3 and 1/2 prophetic years is 1,260 literal years. This is why when the book of Revelation says that the two witnesses will prophesy for 1,260 “days”, it means 1,260 literal days. Whereas when the book of Revelation expresses the time of the persecution of the people of God as 42 “months”, it means 1,260 literal years, because it is 42 prophetic months. Yet even though a “day” in Revelation is a literal day, in Daniel a “day” is a prophetic day, meaning 1 literal year. And when the book of Revelation expresses time in “hours”, it is prophetic time. And since an hour is 1/24 of a day, and 1 prophetic day is 1 literal year of 360 literal days, then 1 prophetic hour is 15 literal days, for 360 divided by 24 is 15. And a prophetic 1/2 hour is 7 and 1/2 literal days. The reason 1 prophetic year is 360 literal years and not 365 literal years is because the ancient solar year was 360 days before it was changed by God to 365 and 1/4 days during the rule of Hezekiah over Judah, with the shadow miracle of the prophet Isaiah. That is why the ancient calendar of the Torah and also the ancient calendars of all civilizations were 360 days. And since a full orbit of the earth around the sun took less time previously than today, precisely 360 days, then the synodic orbit of the moon around the earth conversely took slightly more time to complete, 30 precise days. Whereas today because of the change of the solar year now the synodic orbit of the moon from one new moon to the next new moon is around 29 and 1/2 days. And that is why all the calendars of ancient civilizations were also lunar, for the precise day of the month could be determined by simply observing the current lunar phase, and the precise month of the year could be determined by knowing how many new moons have passed in the year. For 12 lunations of 30 days each was precisely 1 solar year of 360 days. It is the original and perfect and most ancient calendar on the earth, the 360 day lunar calendar. And that is also why 1 prophetic month is reckoned to be 30 precise literal years, and 42 prophetic months are reckoned to be 1,260 precise literal years. The expression “time, times, and 1/2 a time” is also first mentioned in the book of Daniel, where “time” is 1 year. That is why according to the book of Daniel when King Nebuchadnezzar was cursed to have his mind changed to one of an animal for “7 times”, it meant 7 literal years. Yet the timeline in Daniel “time, times, and 1/2 time” is prophetic time, not literal time. Therefore “time” in that expression is 1 prophetic year, and “times” is 2 prophetic years, and “1/2 time” is a 1/2 prophetic year. Which in total that expression “time, times, and 1/2 time” means 3 and 1/2 prophetic years, which is 1,260 literal years. And that expression of time in Daniel “time, times, and 1/2 time” is very unique and specific to that particular timeline when the people of God would be persecuted for 1,260 literal years by the Roman popes, for other timelines of prophecy in Daniel and Revelation that are sometimes interrelated between both books are expressed in “hours” or “days” or “weeks” or “months”, whether in prophetic time or literal time. So when the book of Revelation mentions that the woman would be kept safe and nourished in the wilderness for “time, times, and 1/2 time”, it is the same timeline mentioned in the book of Daniel where the people of God would be persecuted for “time, times, and 1/2 time”. Which therefore tells us that the people of Israel would be kept safe and would not become extinct in its exile throughout the world during the 1,260 literal years of Roman persecution against the true believers in Yeshua. That same distinction between the people of Israel and the believers of Yeshua is made in the 5th seal of Revelation, where the prophets of old of the people of Israel under the old covenant of Moses that were formerly martyred for the word of God are symbolically told to wait until their fellow servants and brothers are also martyred under the new covenant of Yeshua, which are the true believers in Yeshua that would be martyred under the 1,260 year Roman persecution. The time of the 5th seal of Revelation is the time of the 1,260 years of Roman persecution. And in those years while the believers in Yeshua were being persecuted, the exiled people of Israel throughout the world were also hearing the gospel of Yeshua that was being preached all over the world. And thus, the woman was symbolically nourished again, for a “time, times, and 1/2 time”, which was 1,260 literal years. And this is also why the two times she is nourished are expressed differently in the book of Revelation, as “1,260 days” the first time, and then as “time, times, and 1/2 time” the second time, because the first time she is nourished is 1,260 literal days after the death of Yeshua, then the second time she is nourished is 1,260 literal years during the persecution of the Roman popes against the true believers of Yeshua. The first time is expressed in literal time, whereas the second time is expressed in prophetic time. The woman fleeing into the wilderness symbolizes God rejecting the people of Israel, because the Jews rejected Yeshua, but she was still kept safe by God and was nourished with the gospel of Yeshua, for 3 and 1/2 literal years, then 1,260 literal years. The woman has not been completely rejected by God, for a remnant of the people of Israel have been chosen by God.

and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.

Revelation 12:6

…into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.

Revelation 12:14

70 weeks are decreed for your people and your set-apart city…

Daniel 9:24

70 weeks are decreed about your people… to anoint a most set-apart one.

Daniel 9:24

Daniel 7:25

Let his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal, till seven times pass by for him

Daniel 4:16

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, “O Master, set-apart and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

Revelation 6:9-11

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? “Master, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by favor… Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them. For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

Romans 11:1-15

As such, after Yeshua began to rule from heaven, then also Satan and his angels were cast down to the earth by Michael and his angels. 1/3 of the angels were cast down to the earth. Which is why the dragon swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. Which is many angels that sinned, and only 2/3 of the angels that were created that continued in obedience now remain in heaven. There is now a vacancy of 1/3 in the population of the heavenly Jerusalem, also leaving room for those from the current earth written in the book of life that will make the new and heavenly Jerusalem our new home in the new heavens and new earth, after the 1,000 year rulership of Yeshua.

His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth.

Revelation 12:4

Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.

John 12:31

John 16:10-11

At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise…

Daniel 12:1

Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Mashiach have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!

Revelation 12:7-12

But you are brought down…

Isaiah 14:15

In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom…

Daniel 2:44

I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an aeonial dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

Daniel 7:13-14

Yeshua said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

John 20:17

After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

Acts 1:9

But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,

Hebrews 10:12

Then Yeshua came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Matthew 28:18

And after Yeshua ascended to heaven, Satan tried to destroy the people of Israel by destroying Jerusalem and the temple of God. Which is symbolized by the dragon trying to kill the woman. Yet Satan did not succeed in utterly annihilating the people of Israel. But rather, the woman flies away from the serpent. Which symbolizes the exile of the people of Israel away from the land of Israel, for she is now further away from where she was. And she is now dispersed all over the world and the ancestry of many is unknown, thus making it more difficult for Satan to completely annihilate her than if she were all together grouped in one place in the land of Israel. So rather than continue trying to destroy her, he then pursues her offspring. Which are the true believers in Yeshua who also obey the Torah of Moses. And then came the time of 1,260 years of Roman persecution against the true believers in Yeshua, which was his attempt to destroy her offspring.

And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood. But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth. Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

Revelation 12:13-17

And then, at the return of Yeshua, the people of Israel will once again be established in glory, as 144,000 chosen from 12 tribes of Israel. And a portion of these 144,000 will be among the Gentile believers, for whether Jew or Gentile believer, all will be descendants of Abraham, whether knowingly or unknowingly. For the dispersion of the tribes of Israel also brought the inclusion of the Gentiles as descendants of Abraham. Which is also why Abraham is called the “father of nations”, not just the father of one nation, the nation of Israel. And these will be gathered from all over the world and will be brought together to Yeshua, on Mount Zion, in the land of Israel. Which is why although the woman is currently in the wilderness rejected by God, she hasn’t been completely rejected by God, which is why she is kept safe and in hiding and nourished with the gospel of Yeshua, until the time Yeshua returns, which is when she too will also appear in glory, symbolically clothed with the sun and standing upon the moon.

And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel: 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad, 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh, 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar, 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.

Revelation 7:4-8

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Revelation 14:1

In that day the Master will thresh from the flowing river to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, Israel, will be gathered up one by one. And in that day a great shofar will sound

Isaiah 27:12-13

And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:31

Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.

Romans 9:27

Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.

Isaiah 66:8

No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations

Genesis 17:5

I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the earth. In accordance with their ways and their deeds I judged them.

Ezekiel 36:19

I will scatter you among the nations and disperse you throughout the earth, and I will remove your uncleanness out of you.

Ezekiel 22:15

Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them. For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead? If the dough offered as firstfruits is set-apart, so is the whole lump, and if the root is set-apart, so are the branches. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through belief. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.

Romans 11:13-23

After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn impiety away from Jacob.

Romans 11:24-26

Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands, remember that you were at that time separated from the Messiah, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in the Messiah Yeshuah you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah… So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the set-apart ones and members of the household of God

Ephesians 2:11-19

The Jews said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we will not find him? Does he intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

John 7:35

Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Master, together with his entire household. And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized. And the Master said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.” And he stayed a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

Acts 18:8-10

James, a servant of God and of the Master Yeshuah Messiah, To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion: Greetings.

James 1:1

Peter, an apostle of Yeshuah Messiah, To those who are elect exiles of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

1 Peter 1:1

the Master builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel.

Psalm 147:2

He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.

Isaiah 11:12

But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, the Master, are our Father…

Isaiah 63:16

Know then that it is those of the belief who are the sons of Abraham.

Galatians 3:7

Then behold, the word of the Master came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir.

Genesis 15:4

Tell me, you who desire to be under the Torah, do you not listen to the Torah? For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by a slave woman and one by a free woman. But the son of the slave was born according to the flesh, while the son of the free woman was born through promise. Now this may be interpreted allegorically: these women are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children for slavery; she is Hagar. Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia; she corresponds to the present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother. For it is written, “Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear; break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a husband.” Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the airflow, so also it is now. But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.” So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.

Galatians 4:21-31

It is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all children of Abraham. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” In other words, it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as the offspring of Abraham.

Romans 9:6-8

Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Master: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn; look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many.

Isaiah 51:1-2

On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart, by the airflow, not the letter…

Romans 2:29
