Why the 70 Weeks Prophecy of Daniel Was Fulfilled Entirely

The 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel was fulfilled entirely, which was 490 literal years, where each prophetic week of Daniel was 7 literal years, and each prophetic day was 1 literal year, because it was a prophecy of “consecutive” weeks, not a prophecy of 69 weeks and then a “floating” 1 week of Daniel in the future that is not fulfilled, on which a false teaching of a “7 year” tribulation is based on,

70 weeks are determined upon thy people

Daniel 9:24

Which is a timeline that began with a decree to rebuild Jerusalem,

that from the going forth of the command to restore and to build Jerusalem… shall be seven weeks

Daniel 9:25

Which was not the decree issued by Cyrus,

In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Master spoken by Jeremiah, the Master moved the airflow of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing: “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “‘the Master, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Master, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.”

Ezra 1:1-4

But the decree issued by Artaxerxes, around 458 BC, because although Cyrus issued the decree to rebuild the temple, it was Artaxerxes who issued the decree to rebuild Jerusalem, which included its streets, walls, and also its temple, exactly as stated in the prophecy of Daniel, “from the going forth of the command to restore and to build Jerusalem” and “the streets shall be built again and the walls”,

the streets shall be built again, and the walls, even in troublesome times.

Daniel 9:25

In the new moon of Nisan in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was brought for him, I took the wine and gave it to the king. I had not been sad in his presence before… The king said to me, “What is it you want?” Then I prayed to the God of heaven, and I answered the king, “If it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in his sight, let him send me to the city in Judah where my ancestors are buried so that I can rebuild it.” Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, “How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?” It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time. I also said to him, “If it pleases the king, may I have letters to the governors of Trans-Euphrates, so that they will provide me safe-conduct until I arrive in Judah? And may I have a letter to Asaph, keeper of the royal park, so he will give me timber to make beams for the gates of the citadel by the temple and for the city wall and for the residence I will occupy?” And because the gracious hand of my God was on me, the king granted my requests. So I went to the governors of Trans-Euphrates and gave them the king’s letters. The king had also sent army officers and cavalry with me.

Nehemiah 2:1-9

This is a copy of the letter King Artaxerxes had given to Ezra the priest, a teacher of the Law, a man learned in matters concerning the commands and decrees of the Master for Israel: Artaxerxes, king of kings, To Ezra the priest, teacher of the Law of the God of heaven: Greetings. Now I decree that any of the Israelites in my kingdom, including priests and Levites, who volunteer to go to Jerusalem with you, may go. You are sent by the king and his seven advisers to inquire about Judah and Jerusalem with regard to the Law of your God, which is in your hand. Moreover, you are to take with you the silver and gold that the king and his advisers have freely given to the God of Israel, whose dwelling is in Jerusalem, together with all the silver and gold you may obtain from the province of Babylon, as well as the freewill offerings of the people and priests for the temple of their God in Jerusalem. With this money be sure to buy bulls, rams and male lambs, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings, and sacrifice them on the altar of the temple of your God in Jerusalem. You and your fellow Israelites may then do whatever seems best with the rest of the silver and gold, in accordance with the will of your God. Deliver to the God of Jerusalem all the articles entrusted to you for worship in the temple of your GodAnd anything else needed for the temple of your God that you are responsible to supply, you may provide from the royal treasuryNow I, King Artaxerxes, decree that all the treasurers of Trans-Euphrates are to provide with diligence whatever Ezra the priest, the teacher of the Law of the God of heaven, may ask of you– up to a hundred talents of silver, a hundred cors of wheat, a hundred baths of wine, a hundred baths of olive oil, and salt without limit. Whatever the God of heaven has prescribed, let it be done with diligence for the temple of the God of heaven. Why should his wrath fall on the realm of the king and of his sons? You are also to know that you have no authority to impose taxes, tribute or duty on any of the priests, Levites, musicians, gatekeepers, temple servants or other workers at this house of God. And you, Ezra, in accordance with the wisdom of your God, which you possess, appoint magistrates and judges to administer justice to all the people of Trans-Euphrates–all who know the laws of your God. And you are to teach any who do not know them. Whoever does not obey the law of your God and the law of the king must surely be punished by death, banishment, confiscation of property, or imprisonment.

Ezra 7:11-26

Though we are slaves, our God has not forsaken us in our bondage. He has shown us kindness in the sight of the kings of Persia: He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.

Ezra 9:9

Where the first 7 prophetic weeks, or first 49 literal years was the time of reconstruction,

to build Jerusalem… shall be seven weeks

Daniel 9:25

Then after the 7 prophetic weeks of reconstruction was 62 prophetic weeks, or 434 literal years, until the Messiah was anointed, “to anoint the most set-apart one”, which is also what the English word “Messiah” means, “anointed one”, which happened at the end of the 69th prophetic week, or 483 literal years after the decree, which was around 26 AD, which happened when he was baptized with water, which is when he received the anointing,

70 weeks are decreed about your people… to anoint a most set-apart one.

Daniel 9:24

to build Jerusalem until the Messiah, the ruler, comes, there will be 7 weeks and 62 weeks

Daniel 9:25

Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the airflow come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.

John 1:32

how God anointed Yeshuah of Nazareth with the set-apart airflow and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Acts 10:38

Then 3 and 1/2 years later after receiving the anointing, he was killed around 30 AD,

Then after the 62 weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing

Daniel 9:26

Which is a very specific year where the Passover lamb was sacrificed on a Wednesday, which would thus fulfill “3 days and 3 nights” that the Messiah remained dead after he was killed on the precise time the Passover lamb was sacrificed, until his resurrection on the “morrow after the Shabbath”, which was after or around 6:00pm on a Saturday, which agrees with various independent internet resources where the Nisan 14 in 30 AD was both on a Wednesday and also around the time of a full moon,

Note: These are merely calendar calculation screenshots taken from paulcarlisle.net, timeanddate.com, astropixels.com, and hebcal.com to help strengthen the statements made in this study, and not an endorsement of any of their views. The Nisan 14 calculation on a Wednesday in 30 AD is accurate, but the conversion from Jewish Calendar dates to Gregorian Calendar dates may not be accurate, which are not important to know with the precision to determine which day of the week Nisan 14 fell in a year. The full moon calculator is also an estimated date of the full moon based on advanced computer mathematical calculations, but a close enough estimate to assert that the Nisan 14 of 30 AD was a Wednesday with a full moon or approaching full moon the next day, which transitioned into Thursday, which was Nisan 15, the middle of a 30 day Torah month of when a full moons were appointed to happen in the original 360 day Torah calendar.

Which is when he confirmed his covenant with many, in the final week of Daniel, by shedding his own blood, which was the blood of the new covenant,

And he will make a firm covenant with the many for 1 week…

Daniel 9:27

The days are coming,” declares the Master, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah”.

Jeremiah 31:31

This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Matthew 26:28

And by becoming a sacrifice once and for all for sin, in the midst of the final week of Daniel, he also subsequently ended the sacrifice of animals at the temple, because they were no longer accepted by God for atonement, for the “new” covenant of the blood of the Messiah replaced the “old” covenant of the blood of animals,

In the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering

Daniel 9:27

70 weeks are decreed… to atone for lawlessness…

Daniel 9:24

For the Messiah, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

1 Corinthians 5:7

God presented the Messiah as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood

Romans 3:25

Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself.

Hebrews 7:27

And by that will, we have been set apart through the sacrifice of the body of the Messiah Yeshuah once for all. Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God

Hebrews 10:10-12

In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is aging and growing old is soon to vanish.

Hebrews 8:13

And by becoming a sacrifice for sin he also brought an end to sin and transgression,

70 weeks are decreed… to finish transgression, to put an end to sin…

Daniel 9:24

Because unlike the blood of animals, which were never able to perfect a man, the blood of the Messiah perfects a man,

For if the blood of male goats and bulls and the ashes of a cow sprinkled on those who are unclean set them apart and and made clean their flesh, how much more will the blood of the Messiah, who through the aeonial airflow offered himself without blemish to God, make clean our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.

Hebrews 9:13-14

for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the aeons to do away away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Hebrews 9:26

And she shall bear a son, and you shall call his name Yeshuah, for he shall deliver his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21

For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and male goats to take away sins.

Hebrews 10:4

Therefore not even the first covenant was inaugurated without blood. For when every commandment of the Torah had been declared by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of bulls and male goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant that God commanded for you.” And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both the tent and all the vessels used in the ministry. Indeed, under the Torah almost everything is made clean with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. Thus it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be made clean with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Hebrews 9:18-23

Which happens through belief in Yeshuah by receiving the anointing, which is the set-apart airflow, which is also called the “baptism of the set-apart airflow”, or “born again”, or “born from above”, or “born of the airflow”, or “born of God”, which all describe the same event in different terms, which is receiving the airflow of God, which cuts away sin from the inward man, which is the circumcision of the heart, and causes him to perfectly obey the commands of God, and in this way the “end of sin” came to those who receive the airflow of God,

And I will give you a new heart, and a new airflow I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my airflow within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my judgments.

Ezekiel 36:26-27

For by one offering he has perfected in perpetuity the ones having been set apart.

Hebrews 10:14

I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the set-apart airflow and fire.

Matthew 3:11

You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

Romans 6:18

But now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of Elohim, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness, and the end, aeonial life.

Romans 6:22

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin – because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Romans 6:6-7

Yeshuah replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it to the aeon. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed

John 8:34-36

in order that the righteous requirement of the Torah might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the airflow.

Romans 8:4

and to the airflows of the righteous, who have been made perfect.

Hebrews 12:23

In Him you were also circumcised… with the circumcision performed by the Messiah and not made by the hands of man.

Colossians 2:11

No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the airflow, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.

Romans 2:29

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, becoming set apart of the airflow, for obedience to Yeshuah Messiah and for sprinkling with his blood: May favor and peace be multiplied to you.

1 Peter 1:2

Don’t be astonished that I told you, ‘All of you must be born from above.’ The airflow blows where it wants to. You hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. That’s the way it is with everyone who is born of the airflow.

John 3:7-8

Yeshuah answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 3:3

Yeshuah answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the airflow.

John 3:5

Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God

1 John 3:9

We know that every one born of God does not sin; but the one born of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him.

1 John 5:18

and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and set-apartness.

Ephesians 4:24

Which is the aeonial righteousness that was also prophesied to come within the 70 weeks of Daniel,

70 weeks are decreed… to bring aeonial righteousness…

Daniel 9:24

For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of favor and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Yeshuah Messiah

Romans 5:17

For through the airflow by belief we eagerly await the hope of righteousness.

Galatians 5:5

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the Torah, although the Torah and the Prophets bear witness to it

Romans 3:21

And in the final 3 and 1/2 years of the 70 weeks of Daniel, the good news of Yeshuah was preached in Jerusalem first, which is why the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel was also given in the context of the set-apart city, which is Jerusalem, “70 weeks are decreed for your people and set-apart city”,

70 weeks are decreed for your people and your set-apart city…

Daniel 9:24

and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Luke 24:47

These twelve Yeshuah sent out, instructing them, “Go nowhere among the Gentiles and enter no town of the Samaritans,

Matthew 10:5

And then, after the completion of the 70 weeks of Daniel entirely, which was 490 literal years total, the good news of Yeshuah began to be preached all around the world to the Gentiles,

Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Master, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.

Acts 8:25

And when they opposed and reviled him, he shook out his garments and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.
