The antichrist is not one man, but a succession of Roman kings, first called emperors, and now popes. The little horn of Daniel, symbolizing the antichrist, was prophesied to rise from the fourth beast, Rome. Many misunderstand this, expecting one man to rise up in the future, when it’s already been an ongoing Roman succession since Titus. Titus was the one foretold to come after the 70 weeks of Daniel, to destroy Jerusalem and the temple, and set up the abomination of desolation. And according to Josephus, an image of Caesar was worshiped at the Temple, presenting itself as God, and Titus was exalted there as well, and later deified as a god. And from Titus onward, the Roman kings mixed paganism with the gospel and discarded the Torah. They called God a trinity, though the Torah says God is one. They changed the Shabbat to Sunday, and replaced the appointed times of the Torah with Christmas and other invented holidays. They created a false priesthood that imitated the Levites and taught worship of Mary, calling her “mother of God.” For 1,260 years, they persecuted believers and anyone who rejected Catholicism. They are even called “Holy Father” and the title pope means “father” in Latin. Yeshua said call no one father, except God. And they claim to have the anointing, when they actually don’t, which is what antichrist means in Greek, “false anointed”. And through their them and their lies, the whole world has been led into sin, by rejecting the Torah. This succession of antichrists still rules today, and the final pope will be destroyed by Yeshua at his return, ending this long and evil succession.
