My Messages to the World
The mark of the beast prophecy wasn’t talking about a literal implant or tattoo, it was figurative. It was referring to an evil form of money that all humanity would adopt to buy and sell with: paper money and fiat currency. For thousands of years, gold was money, with its value based on its weight. But governments forced people to exchange their gold for paper money, which was later devalued and stripped of gold backing. What used to be names of weights to measure gold, like pounds, pesos, and dollars, became intangible names of currencies and mere numbers. They became false names of weights and numbers, which the Torah forbids. And this became the mark in its two forms: the “name” of the beast and the “number of its name.” 666 confirms this interpretation. In the Tanakh, Solomon received 666 talents of gold, a reference to weight and value. “Talent” is the name of a weight, which in Revelation is the name of the beast, and “666” is the number of the name. What the prophecy is basically telling us is that all humanity would be left buying with mere names and numbers. Whereas the value of gold is based on weight, and its value is true, intrinsic, and tangible. The lack of intrinsic value in fiat currency makes it bad for society, because it leads to devaluation, inflation, debt, hyperinflation, and poverty. The “mark on the hand” symbolizes possessing fiat currency, which gives authority to buy and sell, and the “mark on the forehead” symbolizes debt. Debt enslaves us to creditors. What will condemn is not having received the mark, because everyone has already received it, but refusing to remove it after receiving it. This is why Revelation says, “come out of her.” To come out, you must first be in. To come out, you must renounce fiat currency entirely.
