Wisdom of God Equipping the people of God with understanding

Wisdom of God, Belief, and Why Knowledge and Understanding of the Word of God is Required to Inherit the Kingdom of God

The “truth” is the word of God, which are words that were spoken by the airflow of God through men that were sent by God, which is why these words are “true”, because the source of these words is not from men but from God, which is why many prophecies spoken by these men came to pass, because they are the “truth”, and many more prophecies are yet to be fulfilled for future times,

For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the set-apart airflow.

2 Peter 1:21

Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Yeshua answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, “I find no guilt in him.

John 18:37-38

Set them apart in the truth; your word is truth.

John 17:17

Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

Proverbs 30:5

The words of the Master are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.

Psalm 12:6

Your word is very pure, Therefore Your servant loves it.

Psalm 119:140

But you, dress yourself for work; arise, and say to them everything that I command you. Do not be dismayed by them, lest I dismay you before them.

Jeremiah 1:17

The descendants also are impudent and stubborn: I send you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Master God.’… And you shall speak my words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear, for they are a rebellious house.

Ezekiel 2:4-7

Which is a truth a person must first hear or read before coming to the belief of those words, and after believing those words, then comes “understanding”,

So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of the Messiah.

Romans 10:17

In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your deliverance, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised set-apart airflow

Ephesians 1:13

And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

Trust in the Master with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Master is.

But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it…

Give me understanding, so that I may keep your Torah and obey it with all my heart.

Psalm 119:34

I am your servant. Give me understanding…

Psalm 119:125

Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding; For if you cry for discernment, Lift your voice for understanding; If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will discern the fear of the Master And discover the knowledge of God.

Proverbs 2:2-5

the Master looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.

Psalm 14:2

They read from the book, from the Torah of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading.

Nehemiah 8:8

And all the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them.

Nehemiah 8:12

Which is why the righteous live by “belief”, also called “faith”, or “trust”, because it is by belief and understanding of these words that the righteous walk by, hence why the word of God is also called a light revealing the way,

“Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his belief.

Habakkuk 2:4

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from belief for belief, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by belief.

Romans 1:17

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Psalm 32:8

He had been instructed in the way of the Master. And being fervent in airflow, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Yeshua, though he knew only the baptism of John. He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

Acts 18:25-26

For just as children readily believe what they hear, the righteous must in likewise manner enter the kingdom of God by readily believing the words that are received,

Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.

Mark 10:15

and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.

Luke 18:17

A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, the Master, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.

Psalm 131:1-2

Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

James 1:18

And because of this is why it is necessary for one who is wise according to standards of this world, such as scientists, evolutionists, philosophers, psychologists, and even many theologians, to become like fools, so that they may then become wise according to the truth of the words of God,

For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to the flesh, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.

1 Corinthians 1:26

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this aeon, let him become a fool that he may become wise.

1 Corinthians 3:18

In which case, the word of God is the Torah of Moses, who spoke as directed by the airflow of God, which contains the commands of God that reveal all that is sin, and is the foundation of the knowledge and truth of God,

if you know his will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the Torah; if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the Torah the embodiment of knowledge and truth

Romans 2:18-20

…since through the Torah comes knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:20

What then shall we say? That the Torah is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the Torah, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the Torah had not said, “You shall not covet.”

Romans 7:7

Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

Psalm 119:104

The Torah of the Master is perfect, returning the soul; the testimony of the Master is sure, making wise the simple;

Proverbs 10:8

the precepts of the Master are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Master is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Master is clean, enduring always; the judgments of the Master are true, and righteous altogether.

Psalm 19:8-9

And the word of God is also the gospel of Yeshua, which are the words spoken by the Messiah, who is himself the son of God and received instruction from the Father, yet he also received the airflow of God, and is the one the Torah foretold would come, the “prophet”, which even the Levites were expecting to come when they asked John if he was this “prophet”, and the words of Yeshua are contained in four gospels, which are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,

For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.

John 12:49

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:14

because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel, which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing—as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the favor of God in truth,

Colossians 1:5-6

Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Matthew 7:24

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Master endures to the aeon.” And this is the word that was preached to you.

1 Peter 1:23-25

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19

And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the the Messiah.” And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”

John 1:19-22

And the “word of God” are the words spoken by other men who were directed by the airflow of God, who are prophets and apostles, whose words are contained in the epistles and the book of Revelation, which are new testament set-apart writings, and the Nevi’im and Ketuvim, which are in the Tanakh, which are old testament set-apart writings, and this compilation of the words of God is the “wisdom of God”, which is able to make someone “wise”,

And that from a babe you knew the set-apart writings, the ones being able to make you wise unto deliverance, through belief, of the one in the Messiah Yeshua. Every scripture is God inspired, and beneficial for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction– the one in righteousness; that the man of God should be complete for accomplishing every good work.

2 Timothy 3:15-17

See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the Master my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

Deuteronomy 4:5-6

Which is the wisdom that is necessary to be acquired, to then increase in the belief and understanding of God,

The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding.

And the apostles said to the Master, Add to us belief!

Luke 17:5

For I say by the favor  being given to me, to every one  being among you, to not be high-minded above what you must think; but to think to  be of a sound mind; to each as God portioned a measure of belief.

Romans 12:3

Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,

Proverbs 1:5

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.

Proverbs 9:9

Wise men store up knowledge, But with the mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand.

Proverbs 10:14

And wisdom, knowledge, and understanding are the riches of the kingdom of God, by which a man becomes washed by removing the filth of his works through knowledge of the commands of God, which acts like water, “living water”, which then leads to set-apartness, which then leads to deliverance and aeonial life, which is why wisdom is like a “tree of life”, yet this wisdom also points to one man, the Messiah Yeshua, which makes belief in him as necessary and required as having knowledge and understanding of the scriptures,

in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His favor which He lavished upon us in all wisdom and understanding,

Ephesians 1:7-8

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

Romans 11:33

namely the Messiah, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 2:2-3

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.

Proverbs 3:13-18

Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

James 1:21

Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.

John 15:3

to set her apart, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,

Ephesians 5:26

For them I set Myself apart, so that they too may be set apart by the truth.

John 17:19

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have aeonial life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

John 5:39-40

Yeshua said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to aeonial life.”

John 4:13-14

And upon first hearing, the word of God acts as a seed, and if the heart of a person is good, and the person believed and understood the word, then the seed grows into a tree that bears good fruit, meaning the person begins to do good works and ceases do do evil works, which is why “by their fruits you will know them”, because knowledge and understanding of the commands of the Torah leads a person to stop doing the evil the Torah forbids, and begin doing the good the Torah commands, which is what the Messiah taught, obedience of the Torah, through belief in him,

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Luke 8:11

The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away. And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

Luke 8:12-15

As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.

Matthew 13:23

You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.

Matthew 7:16-18

Which is “maturity”, which is a person that has reached “knowledge of the truth”, “knowledge of God”, “knowledge of good and evil”, who has come to perfect obedience of the word of God spoken through the Torah and the prophets and the Messiah and the apostles, which is the full measure of the stature of the Messiah once the seed grows into full maturity,

We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in the Messiah.

Colossians 1:28

until we all attain to the unity of the belief and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Messiah,

Ephesians 4:13

always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:7

with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

2 Timothy 2:25

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all aeolian wisdom and understanding

Colossians 1:9

who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:4

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Yeshua Messiah in service of the belief of the elect of God and of their knowledge of the truth, which is according to piety

Titus 1:1

For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

Romans 10:2

that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, which is the Messiah,

Colossians 2:2

and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

Colossians 3:10

For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 10:26

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,

Philippians 1:9

His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and piety, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence

2 Peter 1:3

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Master and Savior Yeshua Messiah, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.

2 Peter 2:20

For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than ascending offerings.

Hosea 6:6

and asking that the God of our Master Yeshua Messiah, the glorious Father, may give you a breath of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him. I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the set-apart ones

Ephesians 1:17-18

Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,

1 Peter 1:22

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Master, Master,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 7:21

Yet reaching full maturity take times and “milk”, which is the basic principles of the word of God, which is why certain believers that are still infants in the knowledge and understanding of God are not yet ready for “solid food”, which is advanced teaching for the mature, and as infants can be still tossed to and fro by every wind of false teaching, because their knowledge and understanding of the truth is not deeply rooted,

Concerning this there is much speech from us, and difficult to interpret in speech, since you have become sluggish in the hearings. For even by this time you ought to be teachers, yet you have need of one to teach you again what is the beginning of the principles of the oracles of God; and you have become those having need of milk, and not of solid food. For everyone partaking of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, the ones by constant use having trained the senses for distinguishing both good and evil.

Hebrews 5:11-14

and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the airflow and of power, so that your belief might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away.

1 Corinthians 2:4-6

Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of the Messiah and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of belief toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and aeonial* judgment.

Hebrews 6:1-2

like newborn babies, crave pure reasonable milk, so that by it you may grow up in respect to salvation,

1 Peter 2:2

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into the Messiah Himself, who is the head.

Ephesians 4:14-15

Because just as Eve was deceived by a lie, because she was gullible like an infant, which led her to transgress the command to not eat of the forbidden fruit, so do lies and false teaching lead those who have little understanding of the truth to disobey the commands of God, ultimately leading to their destruction, just as those who have no knowledge and understanding of the truth will also be destroyed, for knowledge and understanding of God is indeed required to inherit the kingdom of God,

You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.

Genesis 3:4

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

Genesis 3:6

and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.

1 Timothy 2:14

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Genesis 2:17

as also in all the letters, speaking in them concerning these things; in which some things are hard to comprehend, which the illiterate and unstable make crooked, as also the rest of scriptures, to their own destruction. You then, beloved, foreknowing, guard that not by the delusion of the torahless ones having been led away, you should fall from your own steadfastness! But grow in the favor and knowledge of our Master and deliverer Yeshua Messiah! To him be the glory both now and into the day of the aeon. Amen.

2 Peter 3:16-18

I will not punish your daughters when they play the harlot Or your brides when they commit adultery, For the men themselves go apart with harlots And offer sacrifices with temple prostitutes; So the people without understanding are ruined.

Hosea 4:14

When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path.

Matthew 13:19

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality.

Revelation 2:14

Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleadsmy servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.

Revelation 2:20

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and the commands of people who turn away from the truth.

Titus 1:14

Many will follow in their depravity, and because of them the way of the truth will be defamed. In their greed, these false teachers will exploit you with tales they have concocted. The longstanding verdict against them remains in force, and their destruction does not sleep.

2 Peter 2:2-3

The lips of the righteous feed many, But fools die for lack of understanding.

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.

Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the Master, nor the judgment of their God.

The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s crib, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.”

When its boughs are dry, they are broken; women come and make a fire of them. For this is a people without discernment; therefore he who made them will not have compassion on themhe who formed them will show them no favor.

Isaiah 27:11

They are a nation without counsel, there is no discernment in them.

Deuteronomy 32:28

Also, that the soul be without knowledge is not good; and he that hastens with his feet sins.

Proverbs 19:2

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the Torah of your God, I also will forget your children.

Hosea 4:6

Therefore my people go into exile for lack of knowledge; their honored men go hungry, and their multitude is parched with thirst.

Isaiah 5:13

How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?

Proverbs 1:22

when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you. “Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Master.

Proverbs 1:27-29

And this is why a wise man will seek out knowledge and understanding and wisdom of God, which is found in the set-apart scriptures,

The mind of a discerning person gains knowledge, while the ears of wise people seek out knowledge.

Proverbs 18:15

A discerning mind seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on stupidity.

Proverbs 15:14
